حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، سَمِعَ جَابِرًا ، يَقُولُ : نَدَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ النَّاسَ يَوْمَ الْخَنْدَقِ ، فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ ، ثُمَّ نَدَبَ النَّاسَ ، فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ ، ثُمَّ نَدَبَ النَّاسَ ، فَانْتَدَبَ الزُّبَيْرُ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا ، وَحَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ " ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ الْمُنْكَدِرِ فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ
