حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، الرَّجُلُ أَمُرُّ بِهِ ، فَلَا يُضَيِّفُنِي ، وَلَا يَقْرِينِي ، فَيَمُرُّ بِي فَأَجْزِيهِ ؟ قَالَ : " لَا ، بَلْ اقْرِهِ " ، قَالَ : فَرَآنِي رَثَّ الثِيَابَ ، فَقَالَ : " هَلْ لَكَ مِنْ مَالٍ ؟ " فَقُلْتُ : قَدْ أَعْطَانِي اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ ، وَالْغَنَمِ ، قَالَ : " فَلْيُرَ أَثَرُ نِعْمَةِ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكَ "
