حَدَّثَنِي بَهْزٌ ، قَالَ : حدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ يُقَالُ لَهُ : أُبَيُّ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ وَالِدَيْهِ أَوْ أَحَدَهُمَا ، فَدَخَلَ النَّارَ ، فَأَبْعَدَهُ اللَّهُ "
