حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُحَارِبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْمَلِكِ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَمَرَهُ أَنْ يَكْتُبَ إِلَى ابْنٍ لَهُ وَكَانَ قَاضِيًا بِسِجِسْتَانَ أَمَّا بَعْدُ ، فَلَا تَحْكُمَنَّ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَأَنْتَ غَضْبَانُ ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " لَا يَحْكُمُ أَحَدٌ بَيْنَ اثْنَيْنِ وَهُوَ غَضْبَانُ "
