كان يبدأ بيديه فيغسلهما قال وكيع يغسل كفيه ثلاثا ثم يتوضأ وضوءه للصلاة ثم يخلل أصول شعر رأسه حتى إذا ظن أنه قد استبرأ البشرة اغترف ثلاث غرفات فصبهن على رأسه ثم أفاض على سائر جسده قال ابن نمير غرف بيدي
